What is Race for Education?
It’s a fundraiser built around a jog-a-thon where students, teachers, and staff run or walk for 30 minutes. It’s an energy-filled day with music, laughter & fun for the whole school! All students participating on race day will get a popsicle, too!
WHY WE’RE RAISING FUNDS
We are raising money for school needs including school assemblies, recess equipment and educational programs to enhance learning. Each student has an individual fundraising goal of $50.
INCENTIVES
- ENTRY INTO GRAND PRIZE DRAWING for a "Big Prize" for each student who meets and/or exceeds their individual fundraising goal.
- 30 MINUTES OF PLAY IN A VIDEO GAME TRUCK for each student who meets or exceeds $150 in individual fundraising.
- MEDALS for the girl and boy in each class who complete the most laps on Race day.
- A SCHOOL WIDE SURPRISE if we beat our fundraising goal of $20,000.
