Parents, please register your Grandparents/Special Friends by Friday, March 13th!!

 

On Thursday, March 26th, this event will start promptly at 8:45 a.m. Grandparents/Special Friends may arrive to the school at 8:30 am but not any earlier as we need to ensure that all student drop-offs are done, and buses are gone. This event will bring in an additional 600-700 visitors to our school on top of the 600+ students and faculty already there. Because of this, any non-Oak Hill children are not permitted to attend. 

 

When you are filling out the registration form, the grandparent's/special friend's full legal name (what appears on their driver's license) must be entered, and their birthdate must be entered in the following format: 05/04/1979. Two digits for the month, two digits for the day and four digits for the year. If the information is not put in this format, the raptor system will not be able to process your grandparents/special friends in order for them to be able to attend the event.

 

Please note that all of the detailed information about Grandparents/Special Friends Day, is being sent to you in a separate email. Let us know if you have any questions after reviewing that information. 

 

NOTE: Grandparents/Special Friends must bring a government issued PHOTO ID (driver's license) and parents must register grandparents/special friends who are planning to attend. Those attending the event who show up without a government issued photo ID at check-in will not be permitted into the school. This is for the safety of our children and a requirement by the County. 

 

We are in need of A LOT of volunteers on March 26 in order to make this event a success for all. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up under My Order & Volunteer Forms on the PTO website. We will need 25+ volunteers.

Will this special friend require handicapped parking?

Grandparents/Special Friends who require handicapped parking and have a disability parking placard or plate can park in the front or parking lot at the school.
