On Friday, May 10, 2024, Oak Hill Elementary School will be participating in the Race for Education! We invite family and friends to join us in helping to raise funds to enrich the lives of Oak Hill students with essential educational items and experiences! 

Each participant can raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible donation to the PTO. Fundraising for the Race is now live! Friends and family can donate to individual students by heading to that student's fundraising page. To find and customize your student's personalized fundraising page, head to the "My Order & Volunteer Forms" tab > Fundraising Campaigns.

The race is scheduled for May 10th and We need lots of parents to help count laps! We also need volunteers to hand out Popsicles after each class completes their race!!! Below are the scheduled Race times for our students. You can come help for just one grade, a few grades, or all day!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to OHES from May 20-24th during your child’s media class time (except for Mrs. Holmes' and Mrs. Wade's classes, who will be given time to come to the media center to shop on Wednesday). Students will be able to preview the books in school and wish lists will be sent home. eWallet is a safe and convenient digital payment option for your student to shop the Fair cash-free. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

The upcoming monthly Lost & Found clean out us coming up on AMay 15th. Please have your students check and claim items from the OHES lobby before then. Items may also be claimed by contacting the Oak Hill main office during school hours. Don't forget to follow @OHESLnF on Instragram to review photos of current items.

Join us for a special treat! OHES is partnering with Taharka Brothers Icecream for a fundraiser that could raise $500 for Oak Hill! Visit here starting May 20th to place your order using coupon code OAKHILL24. Ice cream will be delivered to your home on May 23rd.

"Ride Your Bike To School Day" will take place on Tuesday, May 21st! With May being National Physical Fitness Month, students are encouraged to ride their bike or walk to school. There will be two separate “parking lots” for students to park their bikes for the day. Students must wear a helmet, and are encouraged to bring a bike lock. A transportation form will be sent out closer to the event date, it will need to be completed for students participating.

Grandparents & Special Friends Day! Thank you to Megan Sundberg, Lauren Farrelly, and Ms. Stargel for their hard work in preparing for our Grandparents/ Special Friends Day. This is a HUGE event and requires a lot of planning and organizing! Thank you to the countless parent volunteers who helped make this day such a success!

Spring Dace Success! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the Spring Dance a magical night! A special thanks to Nicole Webb, Amanda Rothenbecker, Lindsey Graves, Nellie Bronson, Alyssia Riley, Jamie Bear, and Allison Senical who chaired the event and steered us to success! As always, thank you to Courtney Williams and Fallon Wareham for help with Ticket sales and tool kit.
