PTO Board Vacancies

PTO is still looking for a 1st Co-Vice President (Fundraising)


The 1st Vice President shall act as an aide to the President and perform the duties of the President in the absence or inability of that officer to serve. He/She will be responsible for all revenue-producing committees and will serve as the liaison between the Executive Board and the respective committee co-chairs. The 1st Vice President will be primary co-signer with the Treasurer on PTO checks.  

If you have any question,  please feel free to reach out to us or another board member at oakhillptopresident@gmail.com It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of the board and we hope you choose to join us.

 

Please consider volunteer for this position - the students and staff need someone to help raise those funds.

OHES Annual Auction — Tropic Like It's Hot | Friday, May 8th

Get ready, OHES! Our 17th Annual Silent & Live Auction is Friday, May 8th, at The Taphouse. Our theme is Tropic Like It's Hot — a fun, tropical evening you won't want to miss!

In addition to attending the event, here are other ways you can support our school’s auction:

1) Contribute $5–$10 per child via Venmo (@OHESPTO, subject "OHES Auction") by April 15th for the class baskets. Click here

Take Me Out to The BaySox Game!!!

Oak Hill is participating in the Chesapeake Baysox "Read & Hit a Home Run" Reading Program again this year. All students read the required reading during school hours so each student will receive one adult and one child ticket to the Baysox game at 1:05pm on Sunday, May 24th. If you cannot make the game on May 24th, tickets are valid for the game at 1:05pm on Sunday, June 7th (original game tickets can be exchanged at the reading program table in front of the stadium on the 7th). Hope to see you at the ballpark!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Information for Teacher Appreciation Week will be shared near the end of April. Please keep an eye out for updates from your room parent.

Kindergarten Registration: April 8th

April 8th begins Kindergarten registration for Fall 2025. Families can register online here. Please share with friends who are new to entering Oak Hill. 

Manic-Less Monday - One Slot Left!!!!

One opening remains for Manic-Less Mondays (June 1)—a great opportunity to provide breakfast or snacks and help teachers start the week on a positive note.

Artsonia at Oak Hill!

Artsonia is the world's largest collection of student art, published by teachers and students from around the world. Parents and family can view the art online, leave comments and order keepsakes featuring the artwork. Proceeds contribute to purchasing art supplies for OHES art classes. Register on the Artsonia website here, so that you receive important notifications, such as when new artwork is posted to your child's gallery.

THE NEXT GENERATION OF BOX TOPS IS HERE.

Continue cutting and saving your Box Tops. There are still some out there!  Next deadline is in October. Please place Box Tops in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child's name and homeroom, then send them into school. We are receiving several baggies without teacher's name. Teachers will not receive credit for baggies without teacher names.

Box Tops is changing to fit today's families. The new and improved Box Tops mobile app uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school's earnings online.

 

A NEW WAY TO TRACK BOX TOPS PARTICIPATION!

Now when you use the Box Tops app to scan your store receipt, you can "Give Credit" to your child's classroom. To "Give Credit" make sure you have the latest version of the Box Tops app, scan your receipt, then tap the star icon to enter your "Give credit" memo.
