The PTO is busy preparing for a few board member transitions, as the end of their terms are approaching. The positions needing volunteers are:

2. 1st Co-Vice President (Fundraising)
3. 3rd Vice President (Volunteer Coordinator)

You may find yourself in a position where you think you may want to be on the board, but you are a little uncertain of what is expected. Our Oak Hill Talent Show on February 21st was a TOTAL success!!! The talented performers were the perfect combination of song, dance, music, and comedy - the audience thoroughly enjoyed the various performances.

Get your PJs ready, Oak Hillers! Join us at OHES for Story Time, Scouts, Crafts, and Snacks on Thursday, March 6th from 6-7:30 p.m. 

Listen to stories read by teachers, fun activities, and a snack. We encourage students to come dressed in their PJs. Families will rotate through the various activities with their children (This is NOT a drop off event). 

Please RSVP if you plan to attend this event. This will help us have an accurate headcount with planning for snacks. Registration closes today!

We need lots of parent volunteers to help with this fun night, including set up beforehand and clean up afterward! Sign up here if you are able to help!

Class picture day is Friday, March 21! Make sure you brush your hair and wear your best shirt!

Grandparents/Special Friends Day is Friday, March 28th from 8:45AM - 10:00AM for Kindergarten-5th grade. RSVP is done electronically for this event. Completing the registration is very important so that we know the number of grandparents/special friends to expect as well as allowing us time to run them through the raptor system and to prepare their name tag ahead of time (both are required by the county). Registration must be done by Friday, March 14th.

You're Invited! Join us for the Oak Hill Parent/Child Spring Dance on Saturday, April 26th from 5-7p.m. at the Severna Park Community Center. Tickets will go on sale March 11th through Membership Toolkit!

Ticket price is $10 per adult and $5 per child. Party snacks included with ticket. Other food and beverages available for purchase. 

A limited number of tickets are available. Please limit your child ticket purchases to OHES students and siblings to allow as many OHES students to attend as possible.

We invite you to join us for our next meeting virtually on Mar. 11th at 6pm. The school and the PTO will benefit from hearing your ideas, and you will be better informed about upcoming events at the school. We hope to see you there! Upcoming fall meetings will be held virtually on Apr. 8th at 6pm. Links to join the meeting will be sent out closer to their dates.

There are many opportunities for parents and community parents to get involved in 2024-2025!  Your help is needed!  Complete the Volunteer Interest form and someone from the PTO will be in touch with you.

Continue cutting and saving your Box Tops. There are still some out there!  Next deadline is in October. Please place Box Tops in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child's name and homeroom, then send them into school. We are receiving several baggies without teacher's name. Teachers will not receive credit for baggies without teacher names.
