OAK HILL UPDATES

1st Vice President Fundraising Needed ASAP

We are still in need of a parent volunteer to take over the reins of the 1st Vice President of Fundraising position after the departure of Kayla Earhart last month.

This position is necessary to raise funds for the PTO, students, teachers, and staff of Oak Hill Elementary School.  Without this position being filled, the PTO risks not being able to raise sufficient funds to provide Oak Hill with items needed and activities done in the past.

Anybody who is interested please reach out to either Lynn LaRocca or Anna Builta (oakhillptopresident@gmail.com).

Thank you for considering volunteering for this board position.

Thank You!!!!

Thank you to all of the families who donated to Harvest for the Hungry during the month of October! All donations were greatly appreciated and made our annual fundraiser a huge success.

Individual Pictures: Make Up Day, Dec. 11

Individual picture make up day is Thursday, December 11th! Any student who was absent on picture day or who ordered pictures and is not happy with their order can have their picture retaken. Please email your teacher to let them know you would like your student to participate in retake day.
Volunteers: Volunteers may be needed for Picture Retakes on 12/11, time TBD. Please look for an email to sign up soon!

Staff Appreciation

Our PTO is always grateful for our amazing faculty and staff. During November conferences, the PTO provided a luncheon catered by Uber Bagels, along with salads and special treats as a way to show our thanks this holiday season.

Chess Club - Lottery Registration Closes December 13

There is still time to add your student to the Chess Club lottery. The club will begin meeting Mondays starting in January (dates can be found within the sign-up form on Toolkit).

The form will close on December 13. Lottery winners will be announced December 15.

Girls On the Run 2025 Season

Girls on the Run finished their season strong with a very hilly 5K run at UMBC. Many thanks to coaches Beth Gunzel, Hannah Schey, Jennifer Pilholski, Julia Miles Inserro, Kelly Heilman, Lindsey Graves, and Ludgina Dieujuste for their dedication throughout the season, Mrs. Crawford for her continuous support, and to the families and friends who came out to run with or cheer on our amazing Oak Hill girls!

The Spring session of GOTR will begin February 9th, with practices on Mondays and Wednesdays through April. If you are interested in coaching for the Spring session, please email Lindsey Graves, lindsey.a.graves@gmail.com. Please consider joining us for this extremely rewarding program!

Lego Club Last Meeting

The last meeting of Lego Club is Wednesday, December 10. Thank you to Jhena Sword, Julia Miles Inserro, and Megan Sundberg for leading the club this season!

Talent Show Registration is Live!

 Talent Show sign-ups are OPEN!

It’s going to be an AMAZING show, bigger and better than ever before. Be sure to start talking to your students about performing so you can fill out the form completely.

The sign-up form will be open the entire month of December, so there is no rush, and forms must be filled out completely to be considered for the lottery, should we get more acts than we have time for.

If your 5th grade student is interested in one of the 7 backstage helper positions OR being one of the 4 hosts for the evening, there is a separate form for those students to sign-up.

All forms can be found on Toolkit:
