Our Oak Hill Talent Show on February 23rd was a TOTAL success!!! The talented performers were the perfect combination of song, dance, music and comedy - the audience really enjoyed the various performances! 

Thank you to the performers who shared their talents with us - it was such a fun evening! Thank you to Molly Minnick, Courtney Williams, Lauren Gursel, Beth Gunzel, Maureen Watson, Katie Crouse and Allison Senical, and Amanda Rothenbecker for coordinating all of the talented acts as well as the MC's for the evening.  

Thank you to all of the volunteers who assisted with costumes, back-stage organization, lighting, seating arrangements and concessions. We are so fortunate to have so many willing hands to make the Talent Show an outstanding event for all to enjoy!

Chick-fil-A in Severna Park is hosting an OHES fundraising day on Tuesday, March 5th all day for drive thru and/or delivery orders. When you order please tell your server you are with Oak Hill or add it to the special comments section when ordering online. OHES will earn 15% of our total sales.

Get your PJs ready, Oak Hillers! Join us at OHES where All the World's a Stage! on Thursday, March 7th from 6-7:30 p.m. 

Listen to stories read by teachers, fun activities, a snack, and a special visit from Theater in the Park! We encourage students to come dressed in their PJs. Families will rotate through the various activities with their children (This is NOT a drop off event). 

Please RSVP if you plan to attend this event. This will help us have an accurate headcount with planning for snacks.  

We need lots of parent volunteers to help with this fun night, including set up beforehand and clean up afterward! Email Lindsey Graves at lindsey.a.graves@gmail.com if you are able to help!

The upcoming monthly Lost & Found clean out us coming up on Mar. 12th & Mar. 22nd (Spring Break purge). Please have your students check and claim items from the OHES lobby before then. Items may also be claimed by contacting the Oak Hill main office during school hours. Don't forget to follow @OHESLnF on Instragram to review photos of current items.

Class picture day is Friday, March 22nd! Make sure you brush your hair and wear your best shirt!

Grandparents/Special Friends Day is Friday, April 5th from 8:30AM - 9:45AM for Kindergarten-5th grade. RSVP is done electronically for this event. The registration link is located in Toolkit under the “My Order & Volunteer Form” tab. Completing the registration is very important so that we know the number of grandparents/special friends to expect as well as allowing us time to run them through the raptor system and to prepare their name tag ahead of time (both are required by the county).

You're Invited! Join us for the Oak Hill Parent/Child Spring Dance on Saturday, April 13th from 5-8p.m. at the Severna Park Community Center. Tickets are on sale March 11th! Ticket price is $10 per adult and $5 per child. Party snacks included with ticket. Other food and beverages available for purchase. 

A limited number of tickets are available. Please limit your child ticket purchases to OHES students and siblings to allow as many OHES students to attend as possible.

The PTO is busy preparing for a few board member transitions, as the end of their terms are approaching. The three positions are:   

1. 2nd Vice President (Student Enrichment)

3. Secretary

You may find yourself in a position where you think you may want to be on the board, but you are a little uncertain of what is expected.
